Stuffed with cheese and then topped with more cheese, these Triple Cheddar Bacon Sliders are the perfect snack to serve during the big game!Back in 2002, I was named Most Enthusiastic College Basketball Fan in the country. Yes, that’s right.  The whole country.  I was crowned on national television at halftime of the championship game.  I guess I should explain, huh?  Well, I’ve always loved college sports.  From the basketball tournament in March to the baseball tournament in June to the bowl games every December and January, I’m pretty sure my life revolves around college sports.  Most of the time, the season ends with, “Well, there’s always next year…,” but every once in a while the stars align and your team brings home the trophy at the end of the season.Continue Reading »

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rums of Puerto Rico. All opinions are 100% mine.

So this past weekend, my wife and I hosted a murder mystery party.  We did one of these last year, and it was loads of fun.  Since we’ve been buried in snow here in upstate New York since, oh, November, we decided that this would be a fun way to get our friends together and forget about the weather outside…at least for an evening.

Want a fun and easy way to make Saturday morning pancakes? Pull out that cast iron skillet and whip up a batch of these Lemon Blueberry Skillet Pancakes! We love blueberries.  Well, to be honest, we love all berries…but blueberries are a particular favorite around here.  In fact, one of the first things we did after moving into our new house is plant several varieties of blueberry bushes along the back fence.  It took a couple of years, but those bushes are pretty darned happy now.  Every summer, I’m out there in the backyard fighting the chipmunks and birds for berries…but I wouldn’t have it any other way!Continue Reading »
