You see, I had discovered that season’s bags of pumpkin spice coffee the night before. Our neighbors share our love for pumpkin spice coffee, and we’ve made a pact that whoever finds it first should grab a bag for the other. And that’s why I was out in the street on a chilly Autumn morning. I was delivering a bag of pumpkin spice coffee to the neighbors just in time for that first cup o’ joe.
The predicament of stalking the delivery truck around town is no longer a problem, though. We can actually order Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Spice Coffee from Walmart.com and have it delivered to our doorstep. That’s right!
I’ve always been a fan of seasonal coffee flavors, and pumpkin spice is right up at the top of the list. Pumpkin spice means the arrival of leaves in beautiful reds, oranges and yellows. Pumpkin spice means the arrival of sweater season. Pumpkin spice means the arrival of sitting on the backporch wrapped in a blanket while enjoying the morning’s first cup of coffee. I live for this time of the year!
Have you ever ordered from Walmart.com? You can pick up in-store, or you can have the item shipped directly to your door. Like Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Spice Coffee! In fact, as I’m sitting here writing this post, I have a mug of pumpkin spice coffee right next to me. Delicious!

Adorable sweater mug! I’m not a Dunkin fan, except when it comes to coffee. I’ll definitely drink their coffee. Pumpkin and chocolate is complicated for me. I love it. But the combination is its own thing, and often when I crave pumpkin, I want it in its pure form. The answer, of course, is more pumpkin! Gotta have it straight up, as well as with chocolate (or caramel, or maple…). Maybe alternating days?
Hah! So I found that mug last winter, and I totally stuck it away. Then I forgot about it until I went looking for a fun mug for this pumpkin spice mocha hot chocolate. Glad you like it! So I totally know what you mean about chocolate + pumpkin. Sometimes it works, but other times the pumpkin flavor gets lost. In this case, the 50-50 combo tastes awesome. Perfect for a chilly day! Thanks, Jeff!
Like Jeff, cool mug. Does it come in plaid? When living in the states, I had a daily Dunkin coffee habit (the drive-through was across from my office). But, never tried spiced pumpkin. Putting it with hot chocolate, brilliant. I might just try it that way. Maybe with a shot of Kahlua!
Hah! I didn’t see that mug in plaid, but that would’ve been pretty cool, huh? I totally know what you mean about Dunkin’ drive-throughs. They are everywhere in our area, and they always cool my name when I’m out and about early in the morning. But if I had my choice, I’d brew my coffee at home…and then mix it with hot cocoa! 🙂 Thanks so much, Ron!
Would you believe I’ve never had pumpkin spice coffee? PSLs yes (unfortunately) but I’m always skeptical of flavored coffee. If you say it’s good, though, I’ll give it a shot! I love the chocolate twist you put on it :). Have a great weekend!
Say WHAT!? Truth be told, I actually like pumpkin spice coffee way more than PSL. You can control the amount of sugar you add…or just go straight black if that’s how you roll. If you’re a coffee drinker, then you totally need to grab a bag of pumpkin spice coffee…and then mix it with hot chocolate. 🙂 Thanks so much, Kelsie. Hope you have a great weekend, too!
I would absolutely be up and running early — even in pajamas — when it comes to coffee! You’re a good neighbor. This drink sounds SO delectable for a cool morning. And I’ll take one any season. ;-)V
When I roll over in bed in the morning (especially on the weekend), I seriously look forward to going down and getting a cup of coffee. And during the fall season, it’s pumpkin spice! And then for a really fun treat, I take that pumpkin spice and mix it with ho-cho! 🙂 Thanks so much, Valentina. I hope you have a great weekend ahead!
It sounds like a sweater mug fan club is on the horizon. Count me in! As to pumpkin spice, chocolate, and coffee, two to go please :).
Seriously! If only I have a sweater-making mug machine in the basement. 🙂 I think each order would have to come with one of these pumpkin spice + coffee + hot chocolate mixtures, though. It’s so tasty! Thanks, Bill!
I love the convenience of on-line ordering! The only thing better than getting this coffee delivered would be to have the cup full of hot chocolate delivered! 🙂 This hot chocolate is all I need on a cold, rainy fall afternoon!
You’re telling me, Kathy! We’ve had a good bit of cold, rainy days here lately…and all I want to do is curl up on the couch with one of these drinks! It’s so tasty, and it has all of my favorite flavors. 🙂 Thanks so much!
Oh this hot chocolate is a quintessence of a cozy autumn drinks, David. Indeed this coffee mug looks like dressed up in a white knit sweater! And you know what? I’ve just realized that I’ve never added pumpkin spice in my coffee; it’s interesting when you don’t consider some simple solutions and ideas sometimes. I’ll need add some in my morning coffee tomorrow.
This really is a quintessential Autumn drink, Ben! I mean it’s got all of the best parts of Autumn drinks combined into one. And I can’t believe you’ve never had pumpkin spice coffee! That is an absolute must tomorrow morning…and then go mix it with a good hot chocolate. 🙂 Thanks so much, my friend!

I’m with ya, Dawn. It’s starting to get chilly here (and we’ve had our share of rainy days this week, too), and a good hot drink like this one is definitely in order! This has all of the best Autumn flavors combined into one if you ask me! 🙂
What a nice neighbor you are! 🙂 I love me a hot cup of hot chocolate in cold weather… and now you’re making me crave one!
This weather is nuts this year! We go from cold and rainy to warm, sunny and mid-80’s! But the chilly days are coming, and I’m gonna be prepared with some of this pumpkin spice coffee + hot chocolate! 🙂 Thanks, Nicole!
I really enjoyed reading your story. I wonder if my neighbors would let me in at that hour LOL This drink has my name all over it…pumpkin, chocolate, coffee, whipped cream…OK DROOLING NOW! 🙂 Yum!
Thank you so much, Sherri! So to be fair, our neighbors didn’t really let me in…it was more like we met in the middle of the street. 🙂 And this drink really is perfect for these chilly Autumn days. We’ve been oddly warm here all week, but today is chilly…and I’m thinking I need a hot drink!
