So just the other day, I was looking back at some of my posts from last summer, and I couldn’t help but notice all of the delicious grilling recipes. Now that the weather is finally warm again and the garden is growing, it’s time to turn our attention to summer grilling. (This is my absolute favorite time of the foodie year!) I pulled together some of my favorite grilling posts and added a few others from some other awesome blogs. From several kinds of burgers to pizza to ribs, this is like a one-stop shop for grilling inspiration. Enjoy!
1. The Ultimate Tailgater Burger. This double-cheeseburger is a gourmet version of the fast food favorite…but with one secret ingredient mixed into the burger! (Spiced)
2. Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork. Pulled pork is a summer classic! It’s slow roasted for an entire day…and it makes for one darn good sandwich. (Spiced)
3. Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burgers. Kinda like chicken wings…but in burger form! (Spiced)
4. Grilled BBQ Sweet Potato Nachos. Woah, there’s a whole lot of deliciousness happening right here! (Pizzazzerie)
5. Grilled Flatbread with Apples, Bacon and Leeks. It’s like a grilled pizza…and it’s loaded with all sorts of tasty toppings! (Shared Appetite)
6. Bacon-Wrapped Scallops. Looking for fun bite-sized appetizers to serve off of the grill? Then look no further! (Pizzazzerie)
7. Smoky Whiskey BBQ Burger. This burger is topped with a pile of whiskey-splashed onions. Count me in! (Spiced)
8. Grilled Ratatouille Muffaletta. I’ve always loved a good muffaletta sandwich, and this vegetarian version features grilled eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini and bell peppers! (The Iron You)
9. Fall Off the Bone Pork Ribs. Slow cooked to perfection, these pork ribs are another summer staple in my backyard. (Spiced)
10. Cheese-Stuffed Curry Burgers. These burgers not only include a healthy dose of curry powder, but they’re topped with a Greek yogurt raita for a fun Indian fusion grilling idea! (Spiced)
11. Mini Grilled Pizzas. Everything’s better when it’s mini, right? (Pizzazzerie)
12. BBQ Grilled Jalapenos. These jalapenos are stuffed with pulled pork and shredded cheese. One of my favorites! (Spiced)
13. Homemade Pretzel Rolls. So this last one isn’t technically grilled, but a homemade pretzel roll will turn any hamburger into a delicious treat! (Spiced)
Um… this collection is AMAZING. I am so glad grill weather is here!!! Pinned!
Thank you so much, Heather! I am SO glad that grill weather is here, too. I’m pretty sure I’ve been using my grill 6 nights/week lately to make up for the extra long winter we had this year. 🙂
OOh – these all sound good, but not being a beef eater, I am particularly partial to 3, 4, 5, 12, and 13!
So…when’s the partay at your house?! 🙂
Thank you, Shashi! The party is pretty much all summer long on my back deck. In fact, I may not turn my grill off at all! Stop by whenever. 🙂
This is an insanely awesome roundup! Just in time too since I finally got my butt in gear and opened up my grill! Thanks for featuring my flatbread recipe also! Those BBQ Grilled Jalapenos sound ridiculous!! I think I need those in my life immediately!
Anything I can do to help out a fellow wolfpack member! (Speaking of, we might need to add Nate to the ‘pack…he’s pretty much awesome, too. Just like us!) Your flatbread sounds totally awesome…I’m definitely putting it on my list of things to make on the grill this summer!
I will take one of each spread out over a whole summer filled with beautiful BBQ days 🙂 thanks for sharing they all look great!
Thanks so much, Laura! But why spread them out when you can make them all in 1 week?? 🙂
Okay, this is perfect. We literally just bought our first grill EVER last week, it’s going to be delivered soon. I’m SO EXCITED!!! I want to try all of these! Especially that grilled apple pizza of yours, dang. pinned!
First grill ever!?! Oh, you are in for some fun times in the coming weeks, Karen!! My grill literally runs almost every single night of the week during the summer. From easy stuff like hot dogs to steaks or grilled pizzas, the sky is the limit here. Thanks so much for stopping by and pinning, too! 🙂
Yum, everything here looks delicious!! I love grilling season. We actually girl year round. We’re the crazy ones, shoveling a path in the snow to get to the grill. My husband has gotten into smoking, so now we are smoking and grilling year round 😀
Me, too, Cindy! I have totally been known to pull out the snow shovel to get to my grill. And I love smoking, too…I just made a delicious smoked brisket yesterday. Look for that recipe coming later in the week!!
We made the curry burgers last night, they were delicious!!! Even my 4 year old love them. My husband doesn’t like yogurt of any kind so we topped ours with cilantro, tomato, and fresh jalapeno. Thanks for sharing! Oh and congratulations on becoming an uncle, Blakely is adorable!
Daravanh!! I’m so glad you liked the curry burgers! That cilantro, tomato, jalapeno twist sounds quite delicious if I say so myself. 🙂 Oh, and Laura and I are coming down in a couple of weeks to meet Blakely…we can’t wait. Maybe we can see you while we’re there??
Thank you for including my Muffuletta recipe man.
I really need to try your Tailgate burger, sounds awesome!
No problemo at all, Mike…that muffaletta sounds awesome! And yes, you totally do need to try that Tailgate Burger. Any excuse to put bacon in a burger is a good excuse to me!
