  2. I bought a mini pie maker and this cookbook. Love my pie maker. I need some help with the Maple Apple Butter pie recipe in the cookbook. Initially it says to melt the sugar, butter cinnamon and salt until it dissolves and set aside to cool. It doesn’t mention later on what to do with it. I am making this today and if I don’t hear back I will plan to mix it with the cooked apples. Hope that works. I am making dinner for some friends tonight and bringing these for dessert! Thanks for your help. The cookbook is beautiful.
