Since I am a vegetarian, I loved the collection of vegetarian soups David.. Thanks a lot for sharing this collection. Happy New Year 🙂
We always make several (big) batches of different soups as we come out of the holidays, and I figured I should pull them all together into one post. There are some really good vegetarian soups on this list…that Spinach Artichoke one is an all-time favorite around here! Thanks so much for stopping by, Puja!
Happy New Year David! I hope you guys had an amazing time! Well you know me and my love for soups and stews so I totally loved scrolling through and checking out these recipes. The Skinny Asparagus Soup one was my favourite, I’ve made a note of that one! Here’s to a happy, healthy 2018 with lots of excellent new recipes for me to feast my eyes on here! 🙂
You and I totally share a love for soups and stews, Neil! We always make big batches of soup for several weeks to help “detox” after the holidays. I figured it would be helpful (for me if nothing else!) to pull them all together into one post. That asparagus soup comes in at just 80 calories a cup, so it’s perfect for post-holiday eating. Cheers to a wonderful 2018, my friend! I’m looking forward to seeing all of your deliciousness (as well as your travels) this year, too!
I want every single one of these. For dinner tonight, preferably. I hope you guys had a great new year and I can’t wait to see your French onion soup recipe! (That’s one of my all-time favorites!)
We totally make about half of these soups every January, Kelsie. I kid you not. We call it our “detox diet” and we just go to town on soup for several weeks. If I’m gonna be eating that much soup, I need it to be delicious! 🙂 Thanks so much, my friend!
I love this! I love making soups and stews this time of year – or anytime, really and this list looks divine! Can’t wait to make the Chicken Enchilada Soup – YUM! All the Best in 2018 to you and your family, David!
We go into soup “detox” mode every year right after the holidays. As much as I love all of the guilty eating over the holidays, I really do enjoy tasty soups. I was looking through my soups the other day, and I figured it would be handy (for me if nothing else!) to collect all of the links in one place. Cheers to a wonderful 2018, Laura! Thank you!
Happy new year David, wishing you the best for 2018 🙂 All the soups look so comforting!
Thank you so much, Manali! We do soup diets for the first couple of weeks after the holidays every year, and I actually look forward to it. (Well, I do still miss my decadent desserts…but these soups are certainly pretty tasty!) Wishing you a wonderful 2018 as well, my friend!
I am a big fan of soup at this time of year. There is no better way to warm up than having a big bowl of hot soup. I love your line up of soups, I am not sure which one would be my favorite, they all look so yummy. Happy New Year to you David and your family. I hope 2018 is a great year for you.
We always go on a soup diet right after the holidays, and I’m ok with that. I miss my desserts, but as long as the soups are tasty then I can deal…for a couple of weeks at least! 🙂 I wanted to pull a bunch of my favorite soups together so I can find them quickly…and I figured it might inspire other folks, too. Thanks so much, Dawn! Here’s to a wonderful and delicious 2018!

I hope you had a great start to the new year, David! I love this collection of soups and stews. So perfect for these cold winter days although we sadly have no snow here in London. It would be lovely to have at least a few snowflakes 🙂
