Looking for some inspiration for tasty winter meals?  These 19 Warming Soups and Stews are sure to warm you up!Happy New Year!  As we wrap up the holidays, I’m just bouncing in for a quick post full of delicious soups and stews.  Winter is cold here in upstate New York, and soups and stews are among my favorite meals once Old Man Winter starts snooping around.  I hope you and your family have had a wonderful holiday season, and here’s to kicking off the new year with some delicious comfort food!  Cheers, friends!

    1. We always make several (big) batches of different soups as we come out of the holidays, and I figured I should pull them all together into one post.     1. You and I totally share a love for soups and stews, Neil! We always make big batches of soup for several weeks to help “detox” after the holidays. I figured it would be helpful (for me if nothing else!) to pull them all together into one post. That asparagus soup comes in at just 80 calories a cup, so it’s perfect for post-holiday eating. Cheers to a wonderful 2018, my friend! I’m looking forward to seeing all of your deliciousness (as well as your travels) this year, too!

    1. We go into soup “detox” mode every year right after the holidays. As much as I love all of the guilty eating over the holidays, I really do enjoy tasty soups.     1. We always go on a soup diet right after the holidays, and I’m ok with that.
