I really enjoy fish, but I don’t often make it at home. I find cooking seafood at home to be a bit of a pain. If I make it indoors, then the house will almost certainly smell like fish for the next 2 days. If I try to go outdoors and grill it instead, then it almost always falls apart on the grill. But then I decided to try grilling on a cedar plank…and it was amazing! There was a bit of a learning curve for sure. (I may or may not have incinerated the first plank because the grill heat was too high.) But now that I’ve got the hang of it, I really enjoying cedar plank grilling!
This Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon recipe is a classic…and so easy to make! I found the salmon to be perfectly cooked with just a hint of smokiness from the salmon. (And the best part? My house didn’t smell like fish for days afterwards!) I also made a quick Lemon Dill Yogurt Sauce to go along with the grilled salmon.
