Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon

Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon I really enjoy fish, but I don’t often make it at home.  I find cooking seafood at home to be a bit of a pain.  If I make it indoors, then the house will almost certainly smell like fish for the next 2 days.  If I try to go outdoors and grill it instead, then it almost always falls apart on the grill.  But then I decided to try grilling on a cedar plank…and it was amazing!  There was a bit of a learning curve for sure.  (I may or may not have incinerated the first plank because the grill heat was too high.)  But now that I’ve got the hang of it, I really enjoying cedar plank grilling!

Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon This Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon recipe is a classic…and so easy to make! I found the salmon to be perfectly cooked with just a hint of smokiness from the salmon.  (And the best part?  My house didn’t smell like fish for days afterwards!)  I also made a quick Lemon Dill Yogurt Sauce to go along with the grilled salmon.

  1. My husband is going to love this idea! I better get him two planks though, just in case :)

    • Definitely grab two…I totally incinerated one when I was making this recipe because I had the grill temperature too high. Oops. But the second one worked…and that was some of the best salmon I’ve ever had!

  2. This looks absolutely delicious! Love salmon- so I must give this a go! :)

  3. This looks great and I can only imagine how great it must smell too!
