Instructions
Cook the spinach according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked, press the spinach into a colander to drain out as much liquid as possible. Set spinach aside. (Tip: Press spinach with paper towels to soak up the extra liquid.)
Using a large sauté pan, add olive oil and place over medium heat. Once hot, add onions; sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring often.
Add garlic, stir and continue sauteing for 1-2 more minutes.
Add lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, chopped artichokes, kosher salt, paprika and drained spinach; stir until well combined. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking until mixture begins to simmer (~5 minutes).
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Working on a lightly floured cutting board, roll pizza dough into an 8”x10” rectangle.
Spread spinach artichoke filling evenly on top of dough.
Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice dough lengthwise to create (2) 8”x5” pieces. Next, cut each piece of dough widthwise into (8) 1” wide strips. This will give you a total of (16) 1”x5” pieces.
Picking each piece up and twist it 2-3 times to create the twisted breadsticks. Place breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until breadsticks are golden brown on top.
While breadsticks are baking, whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasonings and garlic salt.
Remove pan from oven and brush butter mixture on top of breadsticks. Serve warm.
