Instructions
Using a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper; gently stir until well combined.
Shape mixture into 4 balls and flatten each into a patty.
Using a large skillet, add oil and place over medium heat. Once hot, add patties. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove patties from skillet and set aside.
Using the same skillet, add butter and place over medium heat. Once melted, add sliced onions and mushrooms.
Sauté, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes, or until onions begin to soften.
Add flour; stir until well combined.
Slowly whisk in the broth, Worcestershire sauce and dried thyme. Increase heat to medium-high heat and bring mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and let simmer for 6-7 minutes, or until gravy has thickened.
Return patties to pan, cover and continue simmering over low heat for 3-4 minutes, or until patties are heated through.
To serve, top patties with onions, mushrooms and sauce. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
