Ingredients
½cupbroccoli floretschopped
Pizza doughhomemade or storebought
3Tbspolive oil
1Tbspdried oregano
1½tspsalt
¼tspgarlic powder
6-7clovesroasted garlicchopped (homemade or see note below)
¼cupParmesan cheesegrated
1cupmozzarella cheesegrated
¼cuponionsthinly sliced
1Roma tomatothinly sliced
⅓cupfeta cheesecrumbled
½cupmarinated artichoke heartsquartered
1-2TbspKalamata olivespitted and sliced
Instructions
Blanch the broccoli florets by placing them in a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes. Then immediately remove from pot and rinse with very cold water. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 460°F.
Roll pizza dough into a 12-13” round circle.
In a small dish, combine the olive oil, dried oregano, salt and garlic powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the entire top of the dough (including edges).
Sprinkle the roasted garlic, Parmesan and mozzarella evenly across the dough, leaving a 1” border for the crust.
Layer the broccoli, onions, tomatoes, feta, artichokes and olives around the top of dough.
Bake at 460°F for 13-14 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
Notes
If your local grocery store has an olive bar, check to see if it has roasted garlic on the bar. It's often an easy way to pick up roasted garlic if you don't want to roast it yourself!
