This Black Bean Dip is a household favorite! It’s a great dip for serving at parties, and it’s easy to make. (We’ve even used this black bean dip as a quesadilla filling!)

Ingredients
3½Tbspolive oildivided
½cupdiced yellow onion
½tspminced garlic
215-ounce cans black beans, drained and rinsed, divided
¼cupchopped fresh cilantroplus more for garnish
½tspground cumin
¼tspchili powder
¼tspsmoked paprika
2Tbsplime juice
2tspWorcestershire sauce
saltto taste
Instructions
Using a small frying pan, combine the diced onion and minced garlic with 2 Tbsp olive oil. Sauté over medium heat until onions begin to turn translucent (~5-6 minutes).
Transfer the sautéed onions and garlic into a food processor. Reserve ¼ cup of the black beans in a small dish. Add the remaining black beans, remaining 1½ Tbsp olive oil, chopped cilantro, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Process until smooth. Add salt to taste.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with remaining black beans and additional cilantro and diced onions (optional).
Serve with tortilla chips.

Tip: This Black Bean Dip also tastes great in a quesadilla!
