Ingredients
For the Oatmeal
1cupmilk
¾cupwater
1¼cupsrolled oats
1Tbspbrown sugar
1Tbsphoney
1½tspapple pie spicesee note
Toppings
1green applesliced
½cupfresh blueberries
2Tbsprolled oatslightly toasted

Instructions
For the Oatmeal
Using a medium saucepan, add water and milk; bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients (rolled oats, brown sugar, honey and cinnamon); stir and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and let cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Note: To prepare in the microwave, combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes, stirring after each minute. Let stand for 2 minutes before adding toppings.)
Divide oatmeal into 2 bowls and top with apples, blueberries, toasted oats and goodnessKNOWS snack squares.
Notes
If you don’t happen to have apple pie spice handy, just use ¾ tsp ground cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, ¼ tsp ground cardamom and ¼ tsp allspice.
