Mix up pizza night this week! This Steak and Gorgonzola pizza features seared ribeye steak along with dollops of creamy mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese. Yum!

Ingredients
For the Steak
16 oz.ribeye steak
1tspkosher salt
½tspblack pepper
For the Pizza
1batch of pizza doughhomemade or store-bought
1Tbspolive oil
2tspItalian seasonings
1tspsalt
¼tspgarlic powder
⅓cuppizza sauce
¼cupgrated Parmesan cheese
3oz.fresh mozzarella cheesechopped
⅓cupcrumbled gorgonzola cheese
¼cupthinly sliced red onions
chopped fresh parsleyfor garnishing
Instructions
For the Steak
Place cast iron skillet over high heat.
Season both sides of steak with salt and pepper.
Once pan is hot, sear steak for 1-2 minutes per side.
Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.
Slice steak into strips.
For the Pizza
Preheat oven to 460°F.
Roll pizza dough into a 15-16” round circle. Place dough on a piece of parchment paper.
In a small dish, combine the olive oil, Italian seasonings, salt and garlic powder. Brush this mixture around the outer 1” of the dough. (This will become the crust for the pizza.)
Spread pizza sauce evenly around the inner portion of dough. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of sauce.
Top with chopped mozzarella, sliced steak, crumbled gorgonzola cheese and sliced onions.
Bake at 460°F for 12-13 minutes, or until pizza crust is deep golden brown in color.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
