Ingredients
16oz.spaghetti pasta
3Tbspextra-virgin olive oil
2tspminced garlic
{optional} ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
¾cupdry white winei.e. Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc
3Tbspunsalted butter
1tspkosher salt
½tspblack pepper
½cupchopped Italian parsley
¾cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Using a large stockpot, add salted water and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
Meanwhile, add olive oil to a large skillet and place over medium heat. Once hot, add garlic and {optional} crushed red pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring often.
Add wine, butter, salt and pepper; let simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add cooked pasta, parsley and Parmesan cheese; toss until well combined.
If needed, stir in up to ½ cup reserved pasta water to loosen pasta.
