Instructions
For the Dip
In a medium bowl, combine pizza sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, onion and jalapeno (optional). Stir until fully combined.
Pour mixture into a small oven-safe baking dish; top with remaining ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F until hot (time will depend on size of baking dish, but estimate 15-20 minutes). Remove dish from oven and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm. Increase oven temperature to 450°F.
For the Dippers
While the Dip is baking, combine the olive oil, Italian seasonings and kosher salt in a small bowl.
Roll both pieces of pizza dough into large rectangles; brush dough evenly with the olive oil mixture.
Cut dough into strips and then bake in a 450°F oven for 12-13 minutes or until golden brown in color. (Tip: Baking the dough on a pre-heated pizza stone yields a better pizza dough. If you don't have 2 stones, then use a large baking pan instead.)
Garnish the warm Dip with fresh basil (optional). Serve hot.
