North Carolina BBQ Sauce
is a tasty combination of tangy, spicy and sweet. It's an easy recipe that adds a lot of flavor to shredded pork!

apple cider vinegar

white vinegar

light brown sugar

hot sauce

cayenne pepper

Instructions
Using a medium saucepan, add all of the ingredients; stir until well combined.
Place pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove sauce from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Transfer sauce into jar or bottles and refrigerate overnight.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months - just shake well before serving.
Notes
The hot sauce is an optional ingredient. Feel free to omit, or adjust to your own personal tastes.
