Ingredients
3½
cups
bread flour
1⅓
cups
warm water
½
Tbsp
salt
1
tsp
instant dry yeast
Instructions
Using a countertop mixer with the dough hook attached, sift the flour into the bowl.
Add all of the remaining ingredients.
Mix for 5 minutes on low speed.
Once the dough has fully come together, mix for 10 minutes on medium speed.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover.
Place in a warm location for 60 minutes or until dough has approximately doubled in size.
Turn the dough out onto the countertop and fold.
Place dough back into the oiled bowl and let rest in a warm location for another 60 minutes.
Divide dough into two pieces of equal weight.
Shape into baguette style loaves. (See my tip about this in the post.)
Once shaped, sprinkle with small amount of flour and cover. Let rest for another 60 minutes in a warm location.
Score the loaves and bake at 460 degrees for 20-24 minutes, or until loaves are deep golden brown in color.
