Instructions
Using a large skillet, add ground beef and place over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Drain any excess grease from the skillet, if necessary.
Add butter, onions and mushrooms; stir until well combined. Continue cooking for 5-7 more minutes, stirring occasionally, or until beef is fully cooked. (Note: This would be a good time to bring a pot of water to a boil for the egg noodles.)
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add garlic, thyme, salt and pepper; stir until well combined. Continue cooking for 1 minute.
Sprinkle flour on top of mixture; stir until well combined. Continue cooking for 1-2 more minutes.
Add broth and Worcestershire sauce; stir until well combined. Increase to medium high heat and bring mixture to a simmer. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes.
Cook egg noodles for 7-9 minutes, or according to package instructions.
Stir sour cream into beef mixture and cook for 1-2 more minutes, or until heated through.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over cooked egg noodles.
