Ingredients
1cupgranulated sugar
1cuporange juice
3cupsfresh cranberries
{optional} orange zest
Instructions
Using a medium saucepan, add sugar and orange juice; stir until well combined.
Place over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar has dissolved. Add cranberries and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes, or until sauce begins to thicken noticeable. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. (Note: The berries will pop or burst while heating - that's normal!)
{Optional} Sprinkle fresh orange zest on top before serving.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1 week.
