For the Chocolate Layer
8oz.semi-sweet chocolatechopped
¾cupsweetened condensed milk
1Tbspvanilla extract
For the Peanut Butter Layer
½cupsweetened condensed milk
4Tbspunsalted butter
¾cupbrown sugar
¼tspsalt
¾cupcreamy peanut butter
½Tbspvanilla extract
1½cupspowdered sugar
Instructions
For the Peanut Butter Layer
Line an 8” square baking pan with foil or parchment paper, leaving a 2” overhang on the sides; set aside.
Using a medium saucepan, add sweetened condensed milk, butter, brown sugar and salt. Place over medium-low heat, stirring often, until smooth. Remove pan from heat and stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Press mixture into prepared baking pan; set aside.
For the Chocolate Layer
Using a medium saucepan, add chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. Place over medium-low heat, stirring often, until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture over peanut butter mixture, using a spatula to help spread evenly.
Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm.
Remove from pan; discard parchment/foil. Slice into 36 pieces.
