Ingredients
½cupbarbecue sauce
⅓cupwater
2-3TbspDe La Viuda Original Hot Sauceplus more for finishing
3bonelessskinless chicken breasts, cut into 1” cubes
1pineapplecut into 1” cubes
2avocadoscut into ½” cubes
{for serving} small flour tortillas
Instructions
If using bamboo skewers, soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (~375°F-400°F).
Using a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, water and hot sauce.
Thread chicken and pineapple cubes onto skewers.
Once grill is hot, place chicken skewers on grill; brush tops with sauce mixture.
Grill for 5-7 minutes, flip and brush with more sauce. Add pineapple skewers to the grill and brush with sauce. (Note: Discard any excess sauce at this point as it touched raw chicken.)
Continue grilling for 5-7 more minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove skewers from grill.
Fill tortillas with grilled chicken, pineapple and avocado. Serve with additional De La Viuda Original Hot Sauce.
