Packed with warming seasonal spices, this Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte is best served with a good book and a roaring fire.
Dear Pumpkin Spice Latte,
You’re delicious. Everyone loves you. From September-December, it’s pumpkin spice latte this and pumpkin spice latte that. But you’ve had your #PSL fun, my friend. You’ve had your
moment months in the spotlight, and now it’s time to share. Your cousin, the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte, needs some love, too. It’s time for #PSCL. Thank you for understanding.

So I am partially joking here. I mean I do love a good pumpkin spice latte! What’s not to love about pumpkin spice + coffee? But I also find the PSL craze a bit hilarious, too. As soon as that first leaf changes color, it’s like everyone turns into zombies with the singular mission of consuming as many pumpkin spice lattes as possible.
Let’s take that PSL craze in a slightly different direction and go with a Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte. My wife prefers her chai lattes cold, but I tend to like mine nice and hot. Different strokes for different folks, right?
To me, a hot mug of Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte is the very epitome of early November. The temperatures are cold outside, and we’ve got a fire roaring in the fireplace. That’s the perfect time to curl up with a blanket, a good book and a mug of Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte. Oh, and if you’re fighting one of those colds that always seems to come around when the temperatures change, well then a hot chai latte is definitely in order!
This Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte couldn’t be easier to make either! It’s literally a 5 minute…ok, maybe 10 by the time you measure the spices…task. Speaking of spices, this bad boy is loaded with all sorts of warming, comforting spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, cloves, ginger. Yup, they’re all there! It sounds like a lot, but it’s really not that bad. And taken together, these spices yield the most delicious chai latte ever.
But the real shining star to this recipe is the pumpkin spice of course. I mean, it is still #PSCL season, right? I replaced a bit of the milk in this recipe with International Delight’s Pumpkin Spice creamer…and the result was pure magic. I often put a splash of ID’s Pumpkin Spice creamer into my morning coffee, but I really let the pumpkin spice flavors shine in this chai recipe. I’m telling you…one sip, and you’ll be riding on the #PSCL train, too!
